“Should we tell someone to look at an artist similar to them? What does this achieve? Wouldn’t it be better to suggest looking at something different? Something to expand their world rather than a mirror to make them unsure of themselves?
Is there room in the photo world for a single image anymore? Are we too obsessed with series, stories and narratives? Have we lost focus?
